Sarp Yachts successfully launched the second hull of the XSR Series, solidifying its commitment to innovation and excellence in yacht construction. The exterior design of this groundbreaking project is masterfully crafted by Red Yacht Design, while the interior design is done by Art Line. Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) a creation of Van Oossanen Naval Architects empowers the yacht to operate with enhanced efficiency across a diverse range of speeds.
Seamlessly integrating interior and exterior spaces, the XSR 85 incorporates extensive glass elements throughout the hull and superstructure, resulting in a truly open floor plan.
The yacht boasts an advanced hybrid propulsion system, featuring two 800 HP MAN engines, two 70-kilowatt generators, and two 50-kilowatt electric motors, complemented by a battery bank. Solar panels efficiently charge service batteries for the hotel load, while the hybrid battery bank draws power from generators and electric motors, driven by the engines. This technology enables the yacht to operate silently on batteries, efficiently use generators, or combine both, providing exceptional flexibility and a remarkable range of over 1,400 nautical miles at ten knots.
Accommodating eight guests across four cabins and a dedicated crew of four, the XSR 85 offers a spacious layout. The aft lower deck features a full-beam Owner’s cabin with his and her walk-in closets and a luxurious bathroom. Additional guest cabins include a twin-bed port guest cabin with an ensuite bathroom, a starboard guest cabin with a double bed and ensuite bathroom, and a full-beam VIP cabin featuring a walk-in closet and a bathroom that can be transformed into a TV lounge when needed.
The exterior features of the XSR 85 are designed for alfresco enjoyment. The aft deck, complete with its seating area, seamlessly flows from the main area. A full-beam set of stairs leads to the swim platform, featuring a hydraulic platform. The flybridge includes a helm station, a seating area, and a small bar for added enjoyment.
